91X is a student-operated radio broadcast service of the Department of Communication from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
The station broadcasts over the air on 91.1 MHz FM, with an effective radiated power of 8,500 watts, from a height of 716 feet above average terrain (exceptionally tall for a college radio station). 91X's city-grade signal reaches a radius of approximately 26.5 miles from our transmitter site, with even more listeners in outlying areas.
