Kyle LaMonica is an acoustic rock singer songwriter originally from Niceville, FL. Along the panhandle of Florida, he is mostly known as being one of the vocalist/guitarists in the band Free Monica, a band that he co-founded with his close friend and fellow musician, Ben Friedman. Kyle has been playing in Free Monica for about 4 years and is continuing his work with the band but has also just recently begun exploring his music as a solo act. Kyle’s music as well as Free Monica’s has a feel similar to that of recent popular rock bands such as Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Guster and Sister Hazel. You can always expect to find lush vocal harmonies and extensive acoustic guitar work in all of his music. Kyle has released two albums as a member of Free Monica, titled Matter of Time (2003) and Egoliath (2005) respectively.
