Kyle Pacey has been described as a musical force. As a session musician, solo artist, and songwriter Kyle Pacey's exhilarating technique and virtuosity in handling the guitar encompass an eclectic range of musical styles. As a student of jazz, rock, R&B, funk and modern classical guitar Kyle has studied the technique of players as varied as Andrés Segovia, John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, George Benson and George Clinton among others.
Always a crowd pleaser Kyle Pacey's repertoire combines a versatile mix of his own original music with several decades of chart topping favourites. Kyle is an unorthodox player who can transform a familiar rock, jazz or R & B standard into a funky and riveting piece.
Pacey's uncanny ability to play chords prompted one reviewer to write "I was totally mesmerized by Kyle's playing technique… when fingering a chord on the neck of his guitar, he chorded up and down the neck the distance of around 4 or 5 frets distance, rapidly and repeatedly, and no foolin', his left hand on the neck became a blur…"
Kyle Pacey was the first local musician to play Hamilton Place where he was featured
as the opening act for the Duke Ellington Orchestra. Other career highlights include
his nomination (as a member of the John Gora Band for the CD - "Bulletproof") for a 2007 Grammy Award. Pacey wrote original music for the CD and contributed guitar
and vocals.

Kyle Pacey has also been featured on guitar and vocals on Young’s top 40
hits Going to the Country and Grapefarm. Kyle Pacey has played with Robbie Lane and the Disciples and Victor Garber and Sugar Shoppe, Vedas, The Magic Bubble,
Mocha and Jaqui and Lindsay among others. Currently Kyle is a much sought after feature performer at local events, festivals and clubs. He also tours regularly
throughout Ontario and the United States with The John Gora Band.
Kyle's most recent release is his crossover single "Run Run." This song
melds a Cajun flare with a dancehall groove. With 2 new CD projects in the works and several studio projects for other artists on the go Kyle continues to evolve as a musician.
