The poetry-thing is the worst sort of crutch. It weakens a man. And if a man is weak before he writes poetry he becomes, finally, through the strumming of shadows and wailing, what he is.... just another fine pink juicy boy doing his god damned job in the frailest and most vomiting way.

Hello there,
Check out my music and the video. I can send you copies of my music via snail mail for a couple 5 bucks...whatever....better quality audio with handmade covers. Send address, and Ill get it off ASAP. Other guitar by Vince Bruno and Cello by Ruthie Langston.
I've played in multiple bands, and at the moment, play in NOVOX, which you can check out here http://www.myspace.com/novoxx I/we have no label, and if you're stupid enough, we'd love to ruin your business by putting something out with you.
Other past bands include: Dry Nod, Rusted Shut, Klak, and Run Trip and Fall. Rusted Shut simply was too much of a pain in the ass to continue playing with, never mind most shows were a complete embarrassment. Bands for me are about playing music, which generally involves playing outside of shows. I LIKE to play. Rusted Shut has nothing to do with actually playing, and everything to do with schmoozing for shows and all while acting like "Im too cool to care"...I prefer to actually PLAY music more than once a month, and not to a bunch of freaking idiots who are all completely tone deaf anyway... Domokos wearing his god awful eyeliner/hair gel...jeeeezuhhz. I knew after the eyeliner and the hats started showing up, I wasn't long for that band, and they could enjoy one another all by themselves, setting fashion trend throughout the MTV world............You may have noticed "Trapped" on the music selection window. An old Dry Nod song, and one of my favorites. We never really captured what made us a decent band live, in the studio. Happens, I suppose. Trapped, however, never was played live particularly well, but I like the recording quite a bit. We did it all separately, with Vaughan (drums) and Fletcher (jangly rhythmic guitar) starting the basic riff out, then adding each track on. We didn't have a particular idea on how it was supposed to sound, so I think it helped free up the session. I played bass and did the vocals. Basic bass sound, then 2 distorted bass tracks on the changes, for a little impact, but still keep the lighter jangly quality that fletcher wanted.
.....................Ah, Blow...another old one. My favorite stuff is too long for Myspace players, but this was actually alot of fun to record, and was really easy. Don, Roberto and I did the vocals, and I edited them down to something that made at least a little sense, as it was a freaking mess without the editing. This was before I joined Rusted Shut by a couple years or two. My bass was open-tuned, and I played the song with a brass pipe...I cant remember where I found it, but it was probably a foot and half long, couple pounds heavy, gold with one end smashed closed. It worked well as a slide because it was heavy, smooth and free. Vaughan has informed me they were later than 93'...more like 95' Thanks Vaughan.
Come to SHFL on the 15th!
Would be great to see ya!
There's also a Japanese band i know
playing that night. They are groovy!
Cheers!

honey, please forgive me, but the eggs spoiled not because of my floobieness, but because the Fridgidaire went haywire on a low note to boot and the heels were out on the porch to feed the head of Marigold. Love you...miss you!
dry nod fucking rules. I want to say I did see you guys play "Trapped" well this one afternoon, maybe Sunday show at Rudyard's. that was the best show ever.
thanks for the dry nod tracks. you were a great help in getting the graustark page working. do you think you could wear a mask and come up w/a bass part on that 1st track. wear the mask regardless, billpower
