I've been making music for a few years now. Most of what I write is strictly non-fiction; not saying that everything is bonified truth, but simply thoughts on my life and this world. There has been a slow merge of my music and faith most recently. A few years back I often thought "I should be writing something about my beliefs and hopes," now I have trouble writing a song which does not pertain to them.
