“Move with life the way a river moves with the land, naturally.” These words have been embedded in Kyle Wyley’s mind since his childhood on the enchanting plains of New Mexico.
Music moved in to Wyley’s heart when he was seven years of age, at an old barn filled with saw dust, live music, and smiling people. “I didn’t want that moment to end, so I didn’t let it. From that night on I began to study the craft of music… feeling the words, tones, beats, and energies.” The path built by his love and thirst for a wide variety of musical genres led him to the rolling hills of Nashville, TN in May of 2000.
During his time in Nashville, Wyley has evolved into a talented songwriter who collects moments the way others do baseballs cards. “I put them in my pocket to keep me moving forward with each passing day. Nashville has shown me the easy way, the hard way, the glory, the disappointment, the low road, and the high. My journey probably isn’t much different from any other human being. I just have a certain way of saying it.” That way of saying things, along with Wyley’s smooth, soulful vocal delivery has been turning heads around Nashville.
Never one to label himself or his music, Wyley simply says, “My music is honest. If you like it, great! If you don’t, great! I am a singer of songs. I am a showman. Naturally, I am me.”
