Background info on my work:
PEACE OUT : I wrote and recorded this when I was 13 years old. My brother Kurt helped me to put the polish on the lyrics and my brother Chris wrote and recorded the Rap piece. I did my own harmony. Clark Clickk arranged the music and produced the recording.
INVISIBLE TEARS : This song is my baby! I wrote this when I was 17. It accurately reflects that time of my life. In March 2006, with Clark Clickk arranging and producing, and choosing to do the harmony myself, we gave Invisible Tears it's first breath.
HELPLESS : I wrote this a little before Invisible Tears when I was 17. Again, it was a reflection of circumstances in my life at that time. I had begun to learn keyboards and created the intro to this song. My brother Kurt who is a phenominal guitarist, performed all the guitar for me and yes, Clark Clickk arranged much of the remainder of the instrumental and effects as "Helpless" became a reality.
I am hitting the studio once again this month to record another song I have written called "The Color Of Lies". Watch for it!
The Color Of Lies! My newest song is up on my player. Not complete yet but very close. My brother Kurt and I hit the studio last week. Kurt played rythum guitar and added awesome harmony. I also did some harmony tracks and maybe in a week or so, we'll finish the song up with kurt adding a lead guitar track. I am really excited about this song. Oh and lets not forget my producer, CLARK CLICKK!

My name is Kymee Dawn. I am a singer/songwriter/pianist. All of my music is orginally written and recorded by me. Music is my passion; and my fuel for life. Every word of every song comes from my own personal experiences or about issues that I feel very connected with. My love for what I do runs deep in my blood. I come from a very musical background. My father sparked my interest in music when I was very young and he was a live entertainer for my whole upbringing, and he was signed with StarGem Records in Nashville, TN. I do what I do because I love it with my heart and soul.
As for the personal"me"--I am a sister, a daughter, a granddaughter, an aunt. I generally spend my time creating my music but in my spare time you can catch me giving my nephews piggy back rides and spending as much time as I can with my family. My nephews are absolutely the light of my life and are very dear to my heart. I am very close to my brothers, my sister, my mother and my father. I have a few friends that I truly trust and I'd do anything for any of them. I've been through hell, I've had my heart shattered once, Even with everything that I've been through, I still feel like a lucky person. I had a complete, loving family growing up and that in itself makes me feel blessed. I love going out and having a good time and I love meeting new people.
This website is just a way for me to expand my fan base, and put myself out there for the world to see. I love sharing my gift with others and using it to bring people together in any way possible. I've met with Warner Brother Records in NYC, I've been featured on an hour long special on the FUSE network for my singing and writing, and I feel like I've really accomplished some things with my music. I'm ready now to take it to the next level and reach a little higher. I'd like to thank everyone that comes to my page and leaves comments.
