Sounds Like
guitars, piano, drums, and some singing all played at the same time.
a band raised by gypsies in the distant land of kuala lumpur; nourished with the blood of goats and molten lava. kynosis: a term derived from indonesian dilaect essentially translating to "we will melt your face off."
the piano player was originally a painter who worked in the indonesian market. he suffered a serious knee injury due to a work-related altercation when he allegedly tried to convince some patrons that the barf juice he was selling was paint.
the percussionist was a relic from the dutch invasion and subsequent colonization in the historic netherland windmill hills. originally in the cloppin-making industry, he was forced to find alternate work in which he dredged trenches for the corpses from the dutch invasion. it was once believed that this career change was a result of his failure to comply with OSHA standards, but this has been debated long since. apparently some believe that he created a cloppin-construction conundrum when his cloppins did not "clop" on the cobblestone streets.
the guitarist was found by the chinese government, fully grown within a metallic orb. this shocking discovery was declassified shortly after his "birth" in 1965. only a small portion of the public became aware of his emergence, however, because the fully gestated man-being quickly escaped the scrutinizing eye of the media to puff donuts with custard. he often grows moth cocoons on the rafters of his bungalow huts, hoping that someday he might create an evolved man-bug.
the bassist was essentially a seed-like being who began his life underground, much like the seeds of the plant-life you see today. after much coaxing with water from little fairy-nymphs, he sprouted root and grew above ground among the himalayans. his foliage friends were supportive of his interest for music and many told him he would "go far" if he "could only move." alas, he was chopped down by several paul bunyan-like men, but quickly attached his velcro-like rhizomes to a passing by wildabeast and his alternate clone self was free to elope with the nuturing beast creature. to this day, they have many children who flora-inate and fauna-inate (sprout) all over the world. after a sticky legal battle in the early 70's, the bass player divorced the wildabeast and consequently became infatuated with the other 3 members of the band.
a true paradigm was formed, and the world has never been the same since.
"There's more, much more, to Christmas Than candlelight and cheer; It's the spirit of sweet friendship That brightens all year. It's thoughtfulness and kindness, It's hope reborn again, For peace, for understanding, And for goodwill to men!"
£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
Hugs from Brazil, Claudio David

If you're around on Thursday, December 10th, we are playing a show at Mario's Keller Bar. I don't know if you've been there, but it's a very cool place. It's a comfortable space, the room sounds great and they have a stellar beer selection.
Also, we will be playing ALL NIGHT! We'll play some funky, bluesy, and soulful music. We'll project live video onto a 9 ft screen. We'll play some older material that hasn't been heard in awhile, as well as some brand new songs that've never been heard. All bets are off!! We'd love it if you'd come down and listen/party with us!

I was going to go camping this weekend, but this is definitely NOT camping weather. So me and some friends are gonna go check out Dueling Pianos. Those guys are amazing - they can play just about any song that's been on the radio between 1950 and 2005.
Anyways, I wanted to let you know about a show we have @ Station 4 on Friday, October 16th. We are debuting a series of one time only performance art pieces. This one is called "AN OBJECT TO CRAVE". Live music and visuals based on a short story about life, love, loss, fantasy, obsession and death.
Another group of mine, The Magnetrons, which plays an exciting and innovative Livetronica set (i.e. STS9, Disco Biscuits, The Histronic) will also be playing. The night will be full of creative, interesting, high-energy music, good drinks and good times.
Here's the info:
