Kyrielle is a Stockholm-based metal quintet formed by guitarist Kaz in late 2006. The last member to join the band was vocalist Freddy in mid 2007, thus starting their real career at that point. .... By playing a shitload of gigs in Stockholm, Gothenburg and even in other countries they have received the love of fans from every corner of the world, and it can only get bigger and better. Without any plans to quit soon, Kyrielle might turn out to become one of the larger metal acts in the future to come. .... Influences include Architects, Dir en grey, Opeth, Parkway Drive, Slipknot, Lynch and many more. Their image shifted a lot as did their sound in the beginning, but now the new mini album 'Where Dreams Are Torn' has taken a turn out of their uncertainty and their experimental phase. They've got the unique sound and are sticking to it, only to improve it and evolve as musicians, and they've definitely got the ambition to survive through a time where you find a new metal band in your face every time you turn around.
