Getting Airplay:
We're happy to review new music, even if you're not on a record label! Keep in mind however, we tend to not play, ultra-mainstream rock, "elevator jazz", or Top 40 Pop type stuff. Other than that, we'd love to hear it!
All our DJs are volunteers and its impossible to get them to play things they don't like. So start by familiarizing yourself with our shows, many of which have their own MySpace profiles in our Top Friends section.
Please send all music for review to:

What makes KYRS Thin Air Community Radio unique? Two words:
independence and interdependence
First, we are independent of the corporate media and consumer culture that controls most of what people hear, see and read, telling them how they should think, what to buy, and what to believe.
By contrast, here at Thin Air we bring you topics that challenge you to think critically about the world around you. We communicate stories that relate how we all share interdependence for community, the environment, and care and compassion for one another.
Our independence enables us to bring you shows that are affecting our community’s present and future.
Thin Air Community Radio helps connect you with fellow listeners, keeping you up-to-date on all the latest news you won’t hear elsewhere. We provide a fresh, honest, challenging, entertaining and educating world view representative of diverse cultures, people, ideas, and shared values. This is representative of the real world in which we all live. We live interdependently.
Of all our shared values, the greatest is veritas, or truth. Truth cannot flourish without the ability to share ideas from fear of censure – which is why KYRS plays such a critical role in informing and connecting you with the world in which we live. Truth; often it is an illusive, varied idea; a great idea, and great ideas come out of Thin Air.
Your generosity now will help to ensure that we remain an independent voice for years to come. Please, I ask you, give as freely as possible.
