“whenever I think of Kytami I see her in a porche on Robson street or in Hobotown trying to run me down.”
-Kathleen Yearwood (Ordeal)
“your face turned about 6 shades of green then you ripped off a wicked scale then bumped into the backup singer and nailed her in the eye with a stroke of your bow!!! AWESOME!"
-Chris Mathews (The Inlimbo)
“The orchestra pit is a foul, dank place, ruled by pretentious conductors frantically waving their whips to 200 year old romantic sonatas. Some musicians were born for this life of slavery and sight-reading, but not master violinist Kytami. After a long sentence she fled to the mountains, seeking redemption and inspiration among the peaks and valleys of this great earths bosom. Her long exile over, she re-emerged to the taverns and alleys of the metropolis, with a bow as her weapon, protection and provider.
It may have been chance, fate, or any number of supernatural phenomenons that brought Kytami into the fold of Lownote. All that is known is that she arrived one evening and never left. She has brought sight to the blind, pride to the meek, and blood to the muscle. She brought life from the mountains.”
-Don Mann (Lownote)

It can be so tempting to just go through the motions sometimes... especially when you're living a dream... or (in the oh too common scenario) dreaming about chasing your dreams while chasing the means to acquire them... or the next best thing... or maybe just anything…
Yes, I know that we are tried and tired, notwithstanding all the hope that's been goin' around. Yes, I know that we are searching for an intangible something meaningful to do... the next stage in human evolution maybe… revolution... but without the circles.... hoping to enjoy that sacred cycle in the pursuit of happiness.
...how about finishing what we've started?
Each one: get up, and make it happen; be your own Obama.
Hi friends and fellow musicians, the new site is up and running. Because we had to rebuild the databases the old links/bookmarks are not working anymore. So if you want to link to us, or if you already linked to us, you will have to refresh your bookmarks/links. Thx for the support
