About me:

Hi! My name is Paul Allen Shelton, born Park Hyun Kyu. I'm adopted as some might guess. I was born in Pusan, South Korea but have lived in Rushville, IN for most of my life. All of those crazy redneck stereotypes you've ever seen I've probably met (and am friends with) and I guarantee I'm one of the only asian people who you may ever have the chance to meet with a southern twang. I'm currently 21 years old and trying to figure out my place in this crazy passion play we call life. I am currently attending Purdue Universtiy and majoring in computer graphics technology with an English minor. I love living in West Lafayette. This will be my third year at Purdue and I'm hoping to have a great time.

I like cheese. It is tasty.

I'm on twitter.com. Are you?

I watched the new Friday the 13th online. It wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be, but I'm still glad I didn't pay to see it.

I must agree with you about the League of Extraordinary Gentleman: the book IS much better! Though I enjoy the movie solely for spotting fishing wire dragging furniture across the screen

Did you go and see The Dark Knight???? pretty sweet
  • Jul 23 2008 1:20 AM

Daaaaang! Free tickets, and no place to go??
Well, unfortunately, I'm not going either. It's just not in the cards this year, but next year I'll be there 100%, and maybe going to Dragon*Con, too.
I'm working on a repertoire of costumes so I can be prepared!
  • Jul 23 2008 1:09 AM

Are you heading to San Diego for Comic-Con?
Also, I'm going to mention that I'm NOT unimpressed that you named all 5 Spice Girls.
  • Jul 15 2008 6:05 PM

    ya it's sweet
  • Jul 7 2008 9:36 PM

XD No animosity (LOL), just differentiating. The pillow abs just didn't quite equate to Mister Sinister for me, being one of my favorite characters. I LOVE what Carey's doing with him and my other favorites, though, in X-men Legacy! Sinister, Remy, Xavier and Rogue (soon), with Shaw as a nice bonus - it's a great read.
  • Jul 7 2008 3:12 PM

    'Read the Saline Chapter!' XD
So glad we crossed paths at WWC! More than I even realized, too! I loved your Invincible costume, great job with that. I was the Mister Sinister WITHOUT the pillow-abs, I had the right-side-up black-top red-bottom cape.
I was in the second row with Avatar at the Friday Q&A: my wife, ma 'BelleChere' (on the X-men cosplay forum) was Anna Mercury for Avatar's Ellis signings since they loved her outfit at NYCC. I'm Essex on the X-men forums too, and 'Taliesin' on Whitechapel!
Whoo for multi-interested cool, fun people! Great meeting you, wish we could've hung out more now.

Finished with your costume for WW yet?!
