About me: This is the first and only officially recognized Beard and Moustache club in West Michigan. We are a group for true pogonophiles (one who loves beards).To be a member of the club you MUST wear a beard, goatee, moustace or sideburns and will be judged for membership upon this. An exception to this rule will be female members who exert true pogonophilia.

A co-worker, of mine, moonlights on a Grand Rapids cable channel and wanted to know if she can do interviews at Beard-zoo in 2010. It's just an idea for now but could be great exposure to get the Grand Rapids area interested.
Also, I talked with a guy that is getting a beard club going in Lansing. They are listed in BeardTeam USA. They don't have a website yet. But, I think I'll suggest a myspace account.
They re-aired the "Extreme Competition" and I saw my one second of fame.
I was interviewed in Pennsylvania and they said it should appear in youtube.
I didn't place this year at Oil City, PA but met up with some old friends and made new ones. There was five of us there that went to the World Competition.
I was talking to some guys at Oil City that were interested in coming to "Beard-zoo."
Thanks for the heads up. I hope they re-air it as I didn't get to see it. Those guys ran past me as I was getting on the escalator and turned and stuck the camera in my face. I hope I didn't look too bad. I wondered if anything ever happened to that film.
Anyone from Kalamazoo going to "West Pennsylvania Beard and Mustache Competition?" It will be Saturday, October 24 in Oil City Pennsylvania. There is a hotel right next to the competition area. I was there last year and plan to attend again this year. I have room for two in my truck or you can follow me out there.
