An L-Mo is a mass of cells whose origins can be traced back through history, the naturally occuring energy that an L-Mo produces keeps it constantly moving forward rather than looking back. It is a rare species found in obscure locations around the world. Native to Australia, America and England. Recent sightings have been concentrated in the North of England in the center of Leeds.
The L-Mo has reportedly been seen traveling by air, wind and sea. It achieves elevation through sonic vibrations, and travels on both land and sea by a custom eco friendly longboard steam mobile. Rumors abound that its abstract mating calls are the most shocking of all the L-Mo characteristics, some say the creature seems to sing for smiles; constantly crooning in the pursuit of happiness both for itself and others.
The L-Mo is bright in colour, with heavily decorated markings that have been branded as Upbeat Adrenaline fuelled Anti-Folk, but only through a personal sighting is it really possible to comprehend such a creature.
Spreading energising vibrations through string strumming sing songing pandemonium. That'll be L-Mo then.

Some Things People have said about us.
"It's a sound that's all their own, and which they rightly describes as "upbeat adrenaline fueled anti-folk" there's something decidely unpredictable going on, with interesting sounds and beat-boxing thrown into the mix...... Deeply impressive."
-Three Monkeys
""'Got Gumption?' by L-Mo is acoustic originality at its contemporary best.....give it a chance, find its heart, and you'll start feeling the addiction kicking in!"
-ToxicPete.co.uk
"The crazed, beat-boxing, bird-noising, funkoustickery of L-Mo.
L-Mo won't be everyone's cup of tea, but that won't bother them:
the music is packed with the joy that only comes from not giving a sh*t."
-Sandman Magazine
Got Gumption? is different, clever, and rides the waves of many popular genres, while L-Mo put down their own quirky spin. Some may call it contemporary, refreshing,art-core or nu-folk. Apparently is it's anti-folk,with an acoustic beat boxer. Whatever it may be, in its execution the melodies are tighter than Paris Hilton's knickers. If you're forced to take that road trip, you'd travel with L-Mo, Sublime, Frank Turner and Billy Brag - it's honest and infectious.
-No Title Magazine.
The band's sound is truly unique. Their brand of alternative acoustic laced with a healthy dose of funk and reggae works insanely well and Luke's vocal style is among the most intriguing I have ever heard.
The music makes you want to not only to tap your foot, but to shake your ass. Indeed, many of the crowd who apparently didn't know L-Mo before tonight were doing just that.
