My name is Nate Newberry... im better known as l337sponge... seriously google it and a whole bunch of cool stuff comes up. Anyways if you really want to know about me just fucking ask...
I have joined the Army National Guard Reserve as a Aircraft Powerplant Repairer, MOS:15B, and my term is 6 years. I am really excited, My ship date however is not till August 04, 2009. They are trying to find an earlier ship date but for now that's what I am to expect. My training will take 26 weeks to complete including 9 weeks of basic training. I scored a 75 on the ASVAB which qualified me for a $20,000 sign up bonus and for the Montgomery GI Bill. My unit is stationed in Los Alamitos, CA with the 140th AVN Regiment which is really close to home and since I am Reserve this is perfect, I am still close to home unless my unit gets shipped out. One weekend a month and for two weeks during summer I am required to go to RSP. I plan on working out at nights starting this Monday, figure i better get in shape.
