Heroes
Have I ever told you that you're my hero? That's because you aren't. I want to become James Thurber with my grandmother's attitude.
You're incredibly introverted and introspective. You live inside your head.
You spend a lot of alone time meditating and thinking.
People see you as withdrawn, and at times they are right.
You are caring and deep, but it may be difficult for you to show this side of yourself.
Who I'd like to meet: In the past I haven't had anything to put here other than "anyone," which is kind of lame. Now, however, I am discovering trends in who I enjoy hanging out with. I like people who are honest even when it means being rude. I like musicians and artists. The people I keep close to me usually share the fact that at some point they have shared an artistic creation with me- and whether I liked it or not- I feel it is a window into a person's inner self- the true self. I like relaxed individuals who can see the big picture instead of a tiny spec of a moment in time. I probably like those people because as much as I would love to pretend like I always keep things in perspective- I am highly emotional and sometimes an irrational young lady... So it doesn't hurt to have someone around to kick me in the knee and remind me of the rest of the world, and the rest of life... I like people who can find possitives and negatives about everything- people who are objective. Above all though, someone who has a true connection to their inner self. Even if they are confused about who they are or what they want... Those who can observe themselves in search of meaning and direction, and then ACT on what they find, inspire me.
