About me:
LAB Boston, operated by Kim Harris & Todd MacLeod, it is a blended space of art, lifestyle and community. Original artworks mingle with Japanese vinyl toys, music and men's and women's streetwear. With sneaker culture dominating most boutiques, LAB sets itself apart by focusing on other aspects of street culture including music, art & design.
With art openings scheduled on a monthly basis, LAB continuously takes on a new look and shopping experience as time passes. Featured artist include: Mint & Surf from 1134 NYC Gallery, MCA from evildesign.com- recently named "toy designer of the year", Sean Barnhart designer for "The Program", Damion Silver & Dana Wolfe designers for Converse Shoes, Stephen Holding designer, and other local Boston artists. On the music side, LAB sponsors various underground club nights and also hosts an online radio show, three days a week from the store.
