About a year ago, thanks to a happy coincidence (a jamsession), we met each other. We decided to take part at the Dexia Axion Classics competition as a jazztrio. That's when the LABtrio was formed. We won a first prize at this competition, and a lot of gigs came up. Last summer, we also played in the finals of the Jong Jazz Talent competition.
We got coached by Hein van de Geijn and Janos Bruneel.
