.. Help kick off Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month! You can do more than hope-- YOU CAN HELP! Make A Difference. In the past eleven years, the LA Cancer Challenge has raised over 2.1 million dollars for the Hirshberg Foundation. We are passionately engaged in a battle against a disease that kills thousands each year and touches the lives of countless more friends and families. We need to increase awareness and support for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Remember that Pancreatic Cancer Research, as with all cancer research, can also unlock clues to finding cures, treatments and diagnosis for all cancers. To find out more information on the L.A. Cancer Challenge or the Hirshberg Foundation, visit www.lacancerchallenge.com or www.pancreatic.org or call (310) 473-5121.

We are passionately engaged in a battle against a disease that kills thousands each year and touches the lives of countless more friends and families. All proceeds benefit the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.

You Can Make a Difference! Sadly, Pancreatic Cancer is one of the deadliest cancers. Improved treatments and a cure can only be achieved through intense research, and yet Pancreatic Cancer is one of the most under-funded cancers. Thus, intense research for treatments, detection and cures can only be achieved with more funding. Yes, you can make a difference in fighting this disease!

    Help me fight our nation's 3rd leading killer - Stroke! I am running the Los Angeles Marathon once again, but this year, I'm running for a cause. I am running in memory of my grandfather who died almost 30 years ago after suffering a stroke. He died at the age of 58. I am also running in honor of my grandma Dolores Manalo (pictured above) who suffered a stroke about a year ago. Please help the cause and donate whatever you can, whether it be $1 or $1,000.

    Hello. My name is Katie. I am a nursing student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. My group (6 of us) are researching pancreatic cancer in the Acadiana area (Lafayette Louisiana and surrounding areas). We are trying to raise awareness as well. If you all could read the information we have on our page and leave a constructive comment, we would really appreciate it. Also there is a link to a 7 question survey-it would help our research a great deal if you all could take the quiz. Hopefully by raising awareness about the signs, symptoms, and risk factors, we can help save lives. Thank you for all that you do.

    I just wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work and for the cause. My Mom recently passed away due to cancer. Hopefully one day a cure can be found so no one else has to lose their Mother. Thank you.
