We are glad to announce the first CD comp. of Ibiza radioshow La Captura del Sonido/Capture Of Sound. A very nice collabo with spanish indie label Lovemonk Records and artist Dr. Hofmann.
The compilation tries to transmit the free and independent spirit of La Captura Del Sonido. That is why we have gathered the talent of a number of indie artists and music bands from Los Angeles, Paris, New York, Tokyo, Helsinki, Tel Aviv, Toronto, Milan, Extremadura or San Francisco.
Carlos Niño & Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, The Phenomenal Handclap Band, Bing Ji Ling, Gecko Turner, Dal Gren, Elizabeth Shepherd, The Nothing, Mister Modo & Ugly Mac Beer, Nicolay & Kay, Kutiman and Bucky Jonson are some of them. A journey through soul, hip hop, folk, jazz, dance rock and funk captured and freed every morning in Ibiza.

La Captura Del Sonido/Capture Of Sound is a daily independent radioshow
from Ibiza island to entertain and inform you about yesterday's, today's and maybe tomorrow's music.
It took off in July 2004 and dives into soul, indie hip hop, jazz, pop or electronica. The show is about new artists, music labels, interesting music scenes, dj's sessions, live acts and includes regular interviews to people related to music and culture. It is conducted by Daniel Peñacoba, who manages the Music section @ Ibiza International Film Festival and also collaborates with local press and other media by means of music articles and reviews (check out some Ibiza press articles on this page). Radioshow is broadcasted @ 95.2 FM and online through www.ibizasonica.com
