He was raised in Connecticut and later moved to Lithia Springs , Georgia in 2000 to stay out of trouble. Lace has been a music lover since a child. He thought of himself as being a Producer, but never thought he would actually be putting words behind the beats. His influence for music is people. He states “music helps everyone in some way, everyone makes mistakes, but we all live and learn from them”! He would rather not discuss his mistakes, but emphasizes, “YOU SHOULD ALWAYS THINK BEFORE YOU REACT”!

His older brother, who is also his mentor, became a teacher and is currently attending college to receive his Doctrine degree. By his brother simply letting him know that he was proud of him made a huge impact on his life. Lace states “someone saying they are proud of you helps a lot, especially when it didn’t start out that way”!
A niche for rapping was found in 2001 on the school bus in Omaha , Georgia ( Stewart County ). This was a very small town where they didn’t have much knowledge about up North music. The first thing he recited was a verse from Mobb Deep and everyone started cheering him on. This was his starting point and he has been rocking crowds ever since!
