Lacey D Johnston is holdin' down country roots while singing the blues and stylistically nodding in a modern direction. Her voice is sure to leave an impact on this ever changing industry. She's an artist that's determined and ready to prove herself by creating a trend for all to hear and remember!
My passion for singing started before I could read. My name is Lacey D Johnston. I am the youngest of 4 kids and was raised in the beautiful town of Edmonds Wa. I have been singing for 20 years. The first time I entertained a crowd was my 6th grade talent show. I fell in love with the energy, the lights and the adrenaline of performing.
Throughout junior and senior high school I studied voice and trained at a performing arts school in Kirkland Washington where I sang in musical theater, cabaret shows and participated in master classes. During that time, I also sang at numerous private parties, charity auctions and sporting events.
In early 2007 I connected with a producer in Nashville. He expressed an interest in me and asked to cut my first album. I released in December 2007. I completed a six month radio campaign and started to create a buzz in the Northwest. I'm excited to say I was added to rotation in 15 states and 3 countries!! I was praised in my home state and recognized nationally as an "Artist to Watch in 2008'~CMA CLOSEUP MAGAZING
I am currently living in Nashville. I made my move in April 2009. The last 3 months of my life have been more than amazing! I'm singing, writing, learning, working and raising 2 amazing kids! Without my family, friends and loyal fans none of this would have ever been possible. I am so blessed to have all of you in my life!! I not sure where this path will lead but my dreams are endless and I'm ready for the ride!!

Hi Lacey I know I haven't wrote in awhile but I needed a break away from here but haven't came back on full time yet. But I just drop by to say that I am not leaving but just won't be on here as much as I used to be but I hope you understand and don't leave me. For I am having a lot on my mind right now and also this is the month a year ago that I lost my brother to cancer and just seems hard to deal with right now.
