  • Bio

All began with an old Kay f-hole arch top that my older brother brought home from University, with its neck broken off. Dad supplied the Elme'rs Glue, a clamp, and a new set of strings. Hello Kingston Trio... Then British bands invaded, and new sounds started falling like smart bombs. Couldn't get enough. Like the old man said... "The bwah jes' cain't 'hep' it". Memories of jammin' all night at the Penny Lane Winebar (Liverpool) with the late, great Brian O'hara (of The Fourmost), checking out Clapton's Firebird immediately after a Cream concert, in '68. Meeting the Jefferson Airplane, Croz, Bonnie Raitt, members of Orleans. Listening to Jeff Pevar's and Jon Pousette-Dart's sublime playing take some of my material to amazing new places (e.g., "It Ain't The Fall"), and many others. Learning from them all. The high of hearing a new tune come together. Never give up. Never take down.

Hi Lachlan, that's one of the most beautifully worded  comments we've ever had!
Thanks. You have a fantastic turn of phrase. Are you Irish because you write the way "Irish" sounds ... the way it actually sounds. Just listening to waterfall and loving it. Reminds me of the best of Todd Rundgren. Great recording. I have the Sennheiser HD600 cans on and you can hear what strings you're using :-) Great guitar sound on Walking a a boy on a windy day. What guitar is it?
I'll keep popping in. You have a high bench mark with your songs. Cheers Tony
