About me: Well my name is Lacie. I'm a tattoo artist at STAY TRUE TATTOO in Sedalia, MO. I'm finishing my apprenticeship under Adam Templeton after being "apprenticed" (if that's what you would like to call it) at skin thieves. I guess I should give credit where credit is due though. I DID in fact learn alot there. Say, for instance, how to outline with a tight 3. Anyone who knows anything about tattooing knows that shit is COMPLETELY kitchen wizard/scratcher 'artist-esque.' I also learned that if I ever own my own shop and want to make more than half my artists quit i should treat them like shit/turn them against each other/talk shit on them to their customers. ALSO learned that the trick to making a really nice unique, original tattoo is smoke! Who would've ever guessed that smoke is the cure all when you aren't artistic enough to come up with anything on your own?! I DIDN'T! that's for sure. Oh! Or maybe that if you want to make a really nice big back piece you can just shoddily trace a bunch of other actual artists work and puzzle piece it together and call it a 'custom piece.' (and then fill the rest in with smoke of course) Or that if you want to do a 'real nice' black and gray portrait you should completely outline every feature with black and then fill it in with one shade of gray!!! (and then do some smoke around it) That's how Bob Tyrell does it anyway. I guess looking back I do owe them a thanks. Thank you for teaching me how to NOT fuck people up. Now I can have a nice clientele that knows what a good tattoo actually looks like.(and won't have to have sex with clients to let me tattoo them) Check out my portfolio!!! :D I'm at Stay True Tattoo Monday-Saturday, 12-10. Lol that's cool. At least I can pronounce it right, now that I know it's Italian lol. That's pretty cool though. One of my best friends, her sister-in-law, and me are supposed to be getting 3 blue flowers with the vines intertwined on our legs to represent our friendship. We haven't had the money for that yet though either.
