Lacienega exploded onto the scene two years ago in Dallas,
Born of a local filmaker's , Lacienega has evolved from a lampooning caricature to a truly memorable character. With her big hair & big smile, she is quickly capturing the eyes & hearts of all who come in contact with her.
Lacienega gathers her inspirations from the great Latina divas Gloria Trevi, Thalia, Olga Tanon, and the exuberant attitude of Paulina Rubio.
Lacienega has forged her own unique style amongst the sea of drag-conformity often found in local nightclubs, setting herself apart from makeup to hair to wardrobe. She continues to find inspiration, however, in local drag legends Chanel, Heather Sky, Dallas Sheraton, MacKenzie Storm, Natasha Versace, Sable Chanel, and many others.
"These are people that I look up to, and I hope to one day be as great as them - to achieve success as they have, and to master the artform," Lacienega says.
