Influences
Beatles (of course), Rolling Stones, John Mellencamp Grand Funk Railroad, Moody Blues, Bob Dylan, Peter Paul and Mary, The Kinks, R.E.M., Rik Palieri, Pete Seeger, The Byrds, Elvis (you know!). Very 60's or 70's influenced.
Sounds Like
Try and imagine a combination of the The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Greatfull Dead, REM, Bluegrass Cardinals, and Greenday. That doesn't exactly cover it, but you can tell that these guys are a unique combination!
They jump up on the stage and the music just seems to flow out of their fingers! Yea, they hear it backstage at the festivals, "Hey, who are the old people?"
But then they take the stage and old and young alike are facinated by the sound and can't help but get up and dance! Don't miss hearing this band on stage!
For more than 12 years Michael Meade, Ed Dubell and Karen Dubell have worked together in several bands. Playing everything from Country Music, Bluegrass, Rock and Roll, and even were the backup band for Mr. 50's and the Yakety Yaks (yup, they were the yakety yaks!). This time around they have taken control themselves and have a great sound!
They mix the energy and excitement of bluegrass with the passion and power of Rock and Roll. The result is a "get up on your feet and dance" experience!
Their CD is just bursting with great music, with the poetic lyrics, and rhythm of Michael Meade, steady backbeat of Karen's bass and the Hot Mandolin licks from Ed. It's all original tunes, that shows how much heart this band has.

You're welcome, and thank you for adding me! I appreciate it :) Yes, I agree. Music is always better and more fun playing than listening. It always feels like an accomplishment knowing you can play a song.. and make it sound good.
I hope you have a blessed week! Happy pickin' :)

Hello my friend, sorry that I have not been here in so long. I have had a few things going on in my life that has taken me away from my goals. My father had a stroke last November and has been living with me but he is doing great and I will be taking him back home to Kentucky tomorrow. I had another scare with breast cancer, All is well and I am still cancer free. So I am back and ready to get back to work on my music.
The only way to pass any test is to take the test and remember
it takes as much stress to be a success as it does to be a failure so, when you cannot make up your mind between two evenly balanced courses of action, choose the bolder.
