Introducción:
Es complicado
tratar de clasificar a la agrupación dentro de algún estilo
musical, aunque ellos mismos se han clasificado como una agrupación
de opera rock, es indudable que Lacrimosa ha logrado crear un estilo único
e inigualable, lleno de pasión; con sus letras trágicas, desesperación
profunda y otras llenas de amor y melancolía. Principalmente lo podemos
notar muy claramente en sus dos primeras producciones (Angst y Einsamkeit)
en donde podemos notar un ambiente lleno de melancolía, depresión
y oscuridad
Significado
de Lacrimosa:
La palabra
Lacrimosa proviene del latín, y significa: "Lágrimas fluyendo".
Tilo Wolff escogió esta palabra pasara darle nombre a la agrupación
al escuchar el Réquiem en re menor o misa de difuntos (para ser más
precisos de la sexta etapa del tercer movimiento) de Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
quien es para Tilo una de sus mayores influencias.
Historia:
La gran
historia de lo que actualmente conocemos como Lacrimosa comienza a ser escrita
en Frankfurt Alemania en el año de 1990 con la grabación de
su único demo titulado "Clamor", un disco de culto, en el
cual Tilo Wolff nos muestra su gran capacidad para transmitirnos por medio
de su música y letras, aquellos sentimientos de melancolía,
tristeza y soledad.
En el año
de 1991 después de trabajar en varias fábricas Tilo Wolff crea
el sello discográfico Hall Of Sermon, esto con la finalidad de poder
trabajar libremente y sin ninguna restricción musical. En este mismo
año sacan al mercado "Angst", su primer disco, el cual vino
a revitalizar el género musical. Un disco de música minimalista,
lenta dominada por el sonido del teclado y con una voz depresiva.
Su segundo
material "Einsamkeit" (1992) sigue la misma temática que
Angst y con el mismo ambiente oscuro y melancólico. Pero es aquí
en donde comienzan a introducir sonidos de teclado, bajos y algunos solos
de guitarra los cuales vienen a dar un toque tan especial dentro de la atmósfera
depresiva que Tilo maneja en cada canción. Y son precisamente estos
sonidos introducidos de manera esporádica los que logra hacer que nos
desconectemos de la realidad.
En el año
de 1993 Lacrimosa comienza con la tradición de sacar sencillos, siendo
Alles Lüge el primero de ellos. En el mismo año lanzan su disco
"Satura" en el cual se comienza a notar la evolución musical
que Tilo va adquiriendo. Y es en la gira promocional de dicho disco cuando
Tilo Wolff le pide apoyo para los teclados a Anne Nurmi, originalmente esto
seria únicamente en lo que durara la gira, pero al terminar Anne se
integra definitivamente como miembro de la agrupación, ya que Tilo
quedo convencido del buen trabajo que ella desempeñaba... MAS

Introduction:
It is difficult
try to classify the band within any musical style, although they classified
themselves as an Opera Rock band. Doubtlessly, Lacrimosa has been successful
in creating a unique and unrivalled style, full of passion, tragic lyrics,
profound desperation, and others songs full of love and melancholy. This can
mainly be notice in their first productions (Angst and Einsamkeit), in which
the atmosphere is melancholic, depressed and dark.
Lacrimosa's
meaning:
Lacrimosa comes
from Latin and means "Tears flowing".
Tilo Wolff chose
this word to give a name to the band, after listening Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's
Requiem in re minor (to be more precise it is in the sixth stage of the third
movement), who is one of the greater influences for Tilo.
History:
The great history
of what we now know as Lacrimosa started in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1990; with
the recording of the only demo named "Clamor", an album of cult,
in which Tilo Wolff shows us his great capacity to transmit through his music
and lyrics those feelings of melancholy, sadness and loneliness.
In the year of 1991,
after working in several factories, Tilo Wolff found the recording studio
"Hall of Sermon", with the purpose of working in a free way and
without any musical restriction. In the same year, the album "Angst"
was released, their first album, this came to revive the musical genre. An
album of minimalist music, slow, dominated by the sounds of the keyboard and
with a depressed voice.
The second material
is "Einsamkeit" (1992), which follows the same theme that "Angst",
with the same dark and melancholic environment. But here it was introduced
sounds of keyboards, bass and guitar solos that give a special touch within
the depressed atmosphere Tilo manages in each song. And these sounds introduced
sporadically are successful in disconnect us from the reality.
In 1993,
Lacrimosa started the tradition of releasing singles, and "Alles Lüge"
was the first of them. In the same year, the album "Satura" is released,
and in this we can notice the musical evolution that Tilo is acquiring, and
is in the promotional tour of this album when Tilo Wolff asked for supporting
in the keyboards to Anne Nurmi. Originally, this was only for the duration
of the tour, however, when it finished, Anne joined as a permanent member
