From Perth, Western Australia, Lacrymae was created by two brothers with a passion for melody and a desire to blend heavy metal with classical music. Lacrymae create memorable melodies and tantalizing harmonies through soaring vocals and screaming guitars. Held together with a pounding rhythm section, Lacrymae create a soundscape that is turning heads very early in the bands life. Influenced by progressive, power, death and black metal, contrasted with classical and entwined with jazz, Lacrymae hope to entertain and captivate audiences from any background and of any demographic.
