    Photography is probably my biggest passion, besides my husband and my girls. I have an awesome Canon 30D that I use on a regular basis. Digital photography is fantastic. I also like to read anything to do with Medical history (weird, but is it is so fascinating). I love to get on Ebay too. I'm a girl, I love to shop, especially for Hayley and Ryan. I like to garden, even though I don't like getting dirty. I love to cook, I can make great gumbo and can grill anything. And being a mom is the best thing I do.

    I have the weirdest music collection. My Zune has everything from Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, to Christina Aquilera, to Faith Hill, to Elvis, to Good Charlotte, to Nora Jones, to Eminem. A couple of my favorites are Harry Connick Jr. and the Dixie Chicks. It all depends on my mood.

  • Movies

    I remember movies. It's hard to find the time these days and a trip to the theatre doesn't happen enough. Harry Potter, The Notebook, Moulin Rouge, Twilight. I love chick flicks and scarey movies, but like I said, I just don't have enough time for movies.

  • Television

    I love Grey's Anatomy! TIVO is one of the greatest inventions ever. I also like Desperate Housewives, ER, Lost, Heros, Criminal Minds, CSI Miami/NY, Brothers and Sisters, Monk, Pushing Daisies, The Big Bang Theory, Chuck and Private Practive. I am a big Discovery fan too. I also love to watch Ellen, she can always make me laugh. Hayley loves Noggin, so part of my day is spent watching Dora, The Wonder Pets, Backyardigans or whatever else in on she likes. TV is so horribly addicting.

  • Books

    I love to read, but I make time sporatically to do it. I love Stephanie Meyer's Twilight Saga, it's awesome. I am a little obsessed with it right now, even planning a trip to Forks, WA since it's so close! Harry Potter is a must too. Mary Roach, Jodi Picoult, Fitzgerald and more.

  • Heroes

    My Mom and Dad. My younger sister too, because her strength amazed me after she lost everything in Katrina. And people of great faith even when they face great adversities.

About me:

I am a wife and a mother. I have faith and pray daily. I am liberal when it comes to most things, but I can be conservative on a few issues. I am open-minded and have a hard time with hypocritical people. People with a passion for what they care about intrique me. Extremists do little for their cause and turn me away. I love to take pictures of my kids and whatever else that catches my eye. I live in a state where it rains much of the year, but it doesn't bother me too much. (Except when it makes me hair frizzy!) It's incredible to live somewhere where you can drive one way to see the ocean and drive the opposite way for a few hours to see mountains. I married my highschool sweetheart, Jonas, a little over six years ago. We are the proud parents of two beautiful little girls. Hayley is 4 years old and miss Ryan is 1.     They both are, the both think its a girl too. They've been telling me for weeks! I hope for another boy but the doc said it looked more like a girl. Either way were excited. Does your sister still work at that sushi joint? I really could use a Philly roll...

    Texas is good. Life is still pretty hectic, but besides that everything is good. We love our new house!! I will send pics of it with furniture in it is a few days. We had a family bday party for Addison today, so I am exhausted. I will talk to you later. Hope everything is good with you and your family.

    hey! i didn't know about microsoft's deal, so im really glad you write blogs! it keeps me informed about you guys :) also idk where im staying yet before kalista's wedding. it will be me, chris, and my bf josh, maybe ashley too but idk yet. whenever mom comes we can stay at the hotel with her, but in the beginning of the week i was planning on staying with kalista. however ryan's sister might stay with them too so kalista doesnt know if we can stay yet.
    if not, could you guys make room for a couple nights? *puppy face* pleeeeese?

    He fell off the train about 8 feet down and cut his head on the rocks. He got 5 staples. He is okay but his back hurts really bad.

    Hey! Ryleigh is doing great, she had surgery for her blocked tear ducts. She was a little trooper, and now no more yucky stuff in her eyes!
    We're all doing good, just staying busy with work and the kids.
    How's everything going on your end? The girls are getting so big, and so pretty!

    hes off tomorow too, we have to go up to seattle for a bit. our neighbor is in the hospital- the one that was at our christmas party.
    She has cancer and has gotten really sick from one of her treatments I believe!
