Stan grew up in a musical family, and says his strongest influences came from his father, Donley Cox, who Stan credits with being,"the most talented individual he's ever known". Stan was raised on traditional country music, and Western Swing has always been his favorite venue to follow, however; he states that "all music has a place in the heart", and his versatile writing style portrays that.
Stan is married to wife and co-writer, LaDanna, and has 5 birthchildren, 6 adopted children, and in the process of adopting 4 siblings.

I don't think I sound like anyone except "Stan Cox", but have been told through my career that people can hear strong influences from people like, Ray Price, Johnny Bush, Darryl McCall, and others of that genre. I consider that a great compliment.

We have written quite a lot of songs in the country field & also Gospel. We started when the 45 & long play plastic albums were popular. We have been playing music since we were small kids. Testaview plays about all the string instruments.& very good!! We don't do much traveling any more. But we still write & play & special events.
