The cast includes:

THE REVIEWS ARE IN.........

"the timing couldn't be better...politician,prostitute, stunning tawdriness...the cast members sell the gimmick perfectly, they have to;they're within reach out and touch distance of the audience...Sinead McKenna' deserves special commendation for terrific noir lighting, so does Laoisa Sexton who plays the prostitute"
NY TIMES

"Remarkable...an intriguing production...Actor Sean Gormley sets the tone with a compelling delivery as he introduces the parameters of the night...The cast is strong and each has moments that came back into my thoughts after the show.. in particular I found Laoisa Sexton's characterization of Emily adept at bridging the sensibility of the 50's era with modern perception, so that she is in " period" but recognizably human. Her part is written in a way that could have easily become stereotypical and instead she brings a specificity that makes her motivations comprehensible if not exactly agreeable. Also notably fine is David McDonald's coldly theatrical Mr. X....Make every effort to see this production. It is unique and fascinating and not to be easily duplicated"
NY THEATRE.COM

"Appealingly nasty"
THEATREMANIA.COM

"The actors are so close to you that they actually brush against you, at one point actor John Keating had his hand on my shoulder...a bit unnerving...highly effective production,as it takes you out of your comfort zone and creates a sort of underworld,it gives an element of lurid voyeurism that transcends tradional theatre. Of course it would all be just a gimmick, if the acting, staging and design weren't so very strong...you gotta go "
DAILY NEWS

"very Noir...and very timely...Sinead Mc Kenna's cunningly lit bathrooms does not outshine the Irish ensemble as the acting and sound effects must sync for the two halves to work, and so the actors are able to work in a vacum and still retain an ensemble feel...Paul Walker's direction has a light unmistakable touch"
CURTAIN UP REVIEW

"One of the best site-specific theatre pieces I've seen...an intense tragic gem..."
PAPER MAGAZINE

"Strong performances"
STAR TRIBUNE

"Daringly staged...the actors perform their noirish playlets with pitch perfect staginess"
VILLAGE VOICE

"Actor John Keating brings a welcome comic touch to the proceedings...smartly written and directed with precision and timing by Dublin playwright Paul Walker...the Irish Arts Center has done us a favor by bringing LADIES & GENTS to NYC's loveliest latrine"
ABC NEWS

LADIES & GENTS is an unusual spellbinding theatre noir tale of political scandal, sexual hypocrisy, desperation and revenge, set against a backdrop of a highly repressed, deeply conservative,Dublin of the 1950's, played out concurrently in the atmospheric Ladies & Gents public toilets. Fumblings in alleyways... secret rendezvous... perverse pleasures in the oddest of places.

NOT TO BE MISSED!

LIMITED ENGAGEMENT ONLY!

NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!

"Brilliantly detailed... Unique..A creepily embracing experience..." THE GUARDIAN

"If you had asked me before I had seen this, what my idea of a good night out at the theatre would be, it certainly wouldn't be standing in a place where I'd normally spend as little time as possible, but this production proved that the only barriers to theatre, are those that are in the mind" THE BRITISH THEATRE GUIDE

"Macabre, Pinteresque, a finely tuned house of horror..." THE IRISH TIMES

"One of the top theatrical events of the year" THE OBSERVER
