Sanchia’s Story is a one of Tragedy and Triumph. In 2000 Sanchia Began working as a Feature model for some of the Hottest videos like “Special Delivery” by G. Dep of Bad Boy Records, “ I Need A Girl” By Diddy and Usher, The Clipse and many more. During this time she met a Manager that promised to help her with her dreams of being an artist herself. For a year they produced a Reggaeton album that was to be something big. Sanchia Performed on Telemundo morning News, Hispanic Heritage Festivals, Local Night Clubs, Fundraisers and Won and R&B Competition for upcoming artists Promoted by All Is One Entertainment to a Crowd that didn’t even understand Spanish. Just when the promotion of her album was to start her Manager passed away and with him went the project that they worked so hard for. This did put a hold on Sanchias’ career, but she never gave up. She continued to write and produce ideas for a new project. Summer 2008 is a Promising time for this young artist. With songs already placed on “Ugly Betty” the hit comedy show, and Upcoming placement for ABC’s Lincoln Heights and USA’s Burn Notice. She is kicking off her first Latin Festival in September since the completion of her new album. Sanchia is ready to begin a new journey. Her music offers a variety of sounds, from old school dance to the Caribbean Islands, And let’s not forget a couple of songs with very positive messages. As an Executive Producer and Writer Sanchia pours her heart and soul into this project. This is definitely an album that will move you.

Sanchia was born on October 6th in New York City. Her father was a DJ and her mother was a school teacher. "From the time I was born, I was surrounded by music" States Sanchia. At the age of three, her mother enrolled her in Ballet classes at Henry St. Settlement of the Lower East Side. In 1987, her parents moved to Rockland County, New York. Sanchia continued her Dance education, taking Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. At her first recital, she performed for hundreds of people as the closing solo act. "It was amazing to perform for all those people and to see everyone standing and clapping for me" says Sanchia. When Sanchia entered middle school, she started singing with friends in her class. They practiced and sang "Real Love" by Mary J. Blidge for anyone who would listen. Sanchia joined the schools chorus and got her first solo performance for the school show. It was the first time family and friends were able to hear Sanchia sing. It was also the first time she realized that she could sing and dance. Sanchia auditioned for a local play called Peter Pan the Rock Musical. She got the role of Tinkerbell, a back up singer. The Musical Director really enjoyed working with Sanchia so she went on to be part of four additional plays... In High School, Sanchia discontinued dance classes. She discovered a new form of dance called Hip Hop. Her love for entertainment brought a new interest in acting and modeling as well. After High School, she started going on auditions trying to get into the industry. Things finally started to happen in October of 2001. She was a feature model in her first music video. "Being apart of the music videos was a great experience for her. She was able to learn a lot about what goes on behind the scenes. Now, I am the artist and I would love to have my own music videos." "I thank God for all I have and I pray that my dream to make it in the music industry will soon be a reality" she said. In 2003 she met Manager Sandro Burgos....they began working on Sanchia's Album "Amor Prohibido" which was mainly Reggaeton and this was when Daddy Yankee's "Gasolina" first came out. The weekend that the album was completed her manager was killed in an attempted robbery of his home. Sanchia was devastated she lost a really good friend and not only did she lose him she lost her project. After many years of not being able to move forward she is ready to release her new project. Still untitled but it features 15 awesome new tracks. "Sandro really believed in me and it would be a great tragedy for me to give up" States Sanchia. "Now it's my turn to show the world what I can do and who I am, The Question is is the World Ready for Me!"
