Let me tell you a little about Lad's & Lassies, we have been an established business for 35 years. It has been in my family for 14 years, I have owned it for 2 years. We believe in treating your pet as we would treat our own, we love every single one of them too. We have a little bit of a different style of grooming, we groom with air, which is a vac attachment attached to our clippers so that means that our haircuts come out with a nice, smooth, even look. That also means that we can leave your pet with a longer haircut that looks really cute on some dogs, it all up to you. This is a harsh reality of what is happening to our unwanted animals in our world. 20,000 animals get killed each day and 16 million get killed each year in our country. After watching this video I thought to myself what can I do to try to reduce the amount of animals that are killed each year. So Lads & Lassies is now getting more involved with Rescue the Animals, we groom their pets that are up for adpotion and we are also volunteering for their annual fundraising event called The Fur Ball. If you are wondering what you can do to help there are some simple pet care tips first of all spay and nueture your pets, secondly research a breed before you buy one learn about their health problems, their temperment problems, how often they need to get groomed and if they fit into your lifestyle, thirdly make sure your animals have their tags on so if they get lost they can be returned to their home. And lastly adopt, there are hundreds of animals in our local rescue shelter and our animal shelter that would love a loving home. If you have any questions about pet care feel free to email me. We had an awesome turnout for this years Dogs Days of Summer!! We would like to thank everyone that came and enjoyed seeing all kinds of breeds of dogs and a lot of original costumes!! I would like to thank Mary Ann Wood for putting together a wonderful event!! I would also like to thank Paul Washburn for judging with me, it was alot harder to decide then you think, all of the costumes were wonderful!! Hope to see you next year!!!
