I'm a bit paranoid about adding my own art to my profile, or using them in comments because, for those of you who don't know the machinations of Deviant Art (DA), I'll try to explain. All my manipulations are made using images from STOCK Artists on DA - these are artists/photographers/models who upload images specifically for manipulators, or for traditional artists to use as reference. The complication is that every stock artist has different rules about where their images are displayed - even tho the end result is actually MY artwork. Some say for DA use only and others say OK for other sites, but credit must be given. I actually have a stock account on DA as well, and I have very few rules about how my stock is used - personally I think it's only fair to let the artist display or sell their finished artwork in any way they see fit.
Also ... I know how all too easy it is to right click and save to photobucket albums. I've found a few of mine on photobucket before and managed to get them removed.
Yes ... I know I'm paranoid!! Unfortunately, everyone on DA is the same way ... all this copyright stuff gets the wind up everyone.
