Hip Hop is Reflection; Hip Hop is Change; Hip Hop is Expression; Hip Hop is Empowerment; Hip Hop is Inspiration. Hip Hop will remain true to it's roots and will remain alive so don't be fooled.

Jack of all trades best describes Lady Enchantress. As an MC, singer, dancer, percussionist, activist, educator and ongoing student of life, Lady Enchantress represents her values with passion finding divinity in herself through reflection and creative expression. Lady Enchantress is emerging as an undeniable and respected presence in the Hip Hop community of Boston and beyond for her multiple talents and authenticity. She is not only a Hip Hop Artist, she is also a Project Manager for Bunker Hill Community College’s South End Campus (an educational partnership with Inquilinos Boricuas en Accion, IBA), a professional dancer in Essencia (www.rocainc.com) and a Master of Public Policy student at Tufts University.
Born and raised in Boston, MA and being surrounded by musicians and artists prompted the title to Lady Enchantress’ debut album “Boston Buffet” recorded at Hott Boxx Studio in Jamaica Plain. Slated to be released in November 2008, “Boston Buffet” is an assortment of various musical flavors - embedded in orchestrations by Executive Producer Kabluna and Filthy Funk- mixed with reflective, truth-telling lyrics, enchanted harmonies and melodic flows provided by Lady Enchantress and accompanied by Boston-based artists such as Eroc & Optimus of the Foundation Movement and Oasis, who is currently residing in Colombia.
Lady Enchantress has performed in Boston and several other US cities throughout the New England area, New York and California. Being from a family of performers and educators, Lady Enchantress grew up playing congas, singing and dancing Bomba, Plena and Salsa (musical genres from Puerto Rico) while being active in her community. As a community activist and youth worker, she has served on Boston-based Mayor Menino’s Hip Hop Roundtable, Critical Breakdown Committee, Youth Worker’s Alliance Advocacy & Steering Committees and Reflect & Strengthen’s Board of Directors to name a few. Through her work as a community activist, she has also performed in Havana, Cuba at their 9th Annual Hip Hop Conference as the first and only female to perform on the main stage; in Antioquia, Colombia through a delegation organized by the American Friend’s Service Committee in 2004 and again in 2008 through Partners of the Americas and La Lengua De Mi Barrio; in Holland through her work with Boston-based grassroots & arts organization Reflect & Strengthen; and in Puerto Rico where her family and ancestors are from. Through travel, Lady Enchantress seeks to experience global issues firsthand in order to create and nurture bonds with people from around the world; building connections through education, music and sharing of resources. She has facilitated various workshops on Hip Hop, Latin Percussion, Bomba and Plena as well as Community Building.
Lady Enchantress has shared the stage with Don Omar, Marc Anthony, Tito Rojas, Millie Quesada, The Last Poets, Dead Prez, Nice & Smooth, Medusa, Supernatural, La Bruja, Rico Pabon and many Boston-based artists such as Ed OG, Project Move, Foundation Movement, Babaloo, Oasis, Cha-Cha All Stars, Kiki Breevlife, Anjuli Stars, Rice & Beans, Edwin Pabon & Orchestra, Essencia, R&S, Danielle Scott, Kabluna and many more... Lady Enchantress’ “Boston Buffet” debuts this November with various album release events all over Boston beginning in November 2008…
