About Ladybird

After 7 months of solitude we’ve finally given birth to “Ladybird”, consisting of Angelo Bruschini (Massive Attack) Andy Henderson (Roni Size) and presenting new young artist Nicole Thomas…

Whilst Angelo was touring around the world with Massive Attack, Andy was working on vocals in the studio for Roni Size and came across Nicole, a young vocalist working with Jody Wisternoff (Way Out West).

Some time later Andy and Angelo were talking about a solo project, when the name Nicole was brought up in conversation. When down time became available at Andy’s studio, they all got together to throw some ideas around. After a few sessions, it was clear to all that Nicole was the perfect voice for the project.

Rather than a solo project, Ladybird was born!
