About me: Sometimes I wish I had wings. I function best near areas of great natural beauty - especially mountains and/or the ocean. I can't stand humidity unless it's fog. Hot tea and sweaters make me happy. So does the sound of the ocean or a night in the woods. I prefer organic food and I drive a hybrid. I am a happy mix of pragmatism and creativity: a 'left brained artist'. Chaos and I aren't good friends, but I'm learning.
I see all life as a form of art and God as the supreme artist. I see him in the beauty of friendships, nature, intricacy, and artistic expression; and in the majesty of oceans, mountains, sunsets, and stars.

I enjoy being outside, active, and creative. I love to dance, sing, paint, and cook (especially my italian family's recipes). I adore my friends. I hate that so few live in my timezone. I long for the home we've been promised where someday we'll all be together again...
This pretty much sums it all up...
Go here for tons of photos!!

Here's a sneak peek at some of what I've been up to since I bought my house. More to come!!
Hazel, thanks for the B-day shout out. I did have a Wonderful Birthday. Both my Sisters came to town to celebrate with me....it was So special. Hope you are well. I miss you! ps That bathroom is rockin'
Hazel!! Hello. Apparently Big Sur is STILL burning up. Pfieffer Campgrounds are gone (so glad I got to spend a couple days there in January). Carmel Valley Village is the base camp for the northern end of the fires. I talked to my fam on the phone as then went by the old airstrip and saw the 500 firefighters and all their tents. Crazy times!
Hey Hazel, It's good to hear from you! I have definitely been missing our Calvary Chapel family. It is good to be home to spend time with everyone here but a piece of my heart is there with you guys! We are going to be really busy where I work over the summer but the good part is I will most likely be traveling through Augusta! Also John will be at Fort Jackson in Colombia starting today for the next two months. So we will definitely be in the area! How's the house coming along? I bet it is near perfection!
Hi my lovely Hazel! Just wanted to say that it was a treat to talk to you this morning! Thanks for getting me through the ugly CA traffic hour. I send you a big hug!! Muah!
Hazzle-Razzle, I was frazzle-dazzled this last week with what happened to my Grandpa, and the unexpected family trip to Redding...so, I am sending you a big fat SORRY for not calling or writing on your birthday. Please know that I LOVE you and I hope you had a special bday. Your life is a blessing to this planet, and you're not just a blessed amiga to me, but there are a LOT of folks who love you! Happy Belated Birthday, Bella!! Pretend this is a red velvet cake just for you! (I know it has nothin' on your mom's code-breaking Italian Chocolate/Raspberry cake, but hey I "made" it with love and I'm packing it with mini marshmallows!!)
