I am known for writing fantasy, scifi and horror short and long stories. Currently working on an urban fantasy novel (and screenplay) set in modern day Tokio and its nightlife clubs.

關於我：
I find it hard to describe myself as I am not the most social person, so lets better skip the unnecessary parts and get to my work first.
I am a published fantasy, science fiction and horror writer. My stories are appearing in print in the Czech republic since 2001 and hopefully I will be debuting in the USA and UK in 2009 (so far, they seem to like what I have to offer).
My stories tend to be somewhat dark, fast paced and written without excessive descriptions – simply said, I hate walls of texts. Friends and some critics refer to my style as „script-like“, which has been actually proved when my story „One would almost believe...“ has been adapted to a theatre play by just cutting out a few lines.
I love mythology and all the stories, that keep appearing over and over during the ages in myriad of versions and localizations. Archetypes, fairy tales, heroes... I believe in the power of a good story, no matter how it is presented to the audience. A book, a movie or something that you hear from your grandmother - the stories are always the most important part, it is only the form that is changing. This is the reason, why I prefer to refer to myself as a storyteller more than only a writer or scriptwriter – the form does not really matter, everything depends on whether the story is good or not, the rest is just a technic. I believe that my stories are good. Good enough to make it big.
I am extremely lame when it comes to selling myself, so I am also currently in need of a good literary agent for English speaking audience. So if you are or know somebody reliable, let me know.
As to myself: I have been born in 1982, grew up in a small town and was basically raised by grandparents, as my parents did more damage than raising to me. I moved to my grandparents when I was 17 and that was when I also started writing seriously and caring about my future – I am still taking care of my grandmother.
I speak Czech, English and some German and Japanese. As for education, I failed my university a year before graduating and am not really returning back any soon, even though I would like to acquire a title at some point. My day job atm is a legal secretary with a writing gig here and there, but I am playing with the idea of taking a job with the Czech TV or anywhere in the movie/gaming industry if I got the chance.
Notice: I am now in the middle of a long schedule of surgeries and treatments for a birth defect I suffer from and it is very exhausting time to time, so if I do not appear online for a while, I am probably in hospital and will answer when I can.

Other artist with real vision and goal, however insane it might be. (Also do me a favor and write a message why you are friending me. I do not like to be just a number in anyones nameless friend-crowd for the sake of "having lotsa friendz".)
