YENNY POLANCO: New IFBB Athlete! Earned my IFBB Pro card in Sept. of 2009 at the NPC Team Universe Championships! And in less than a month made my IFBB Pro debut, made Top 5! and then Top 3! and that qualified me for the Olympia 2010! Dreams do come true! And hard work pays off. IFBB Athlete, where the best of the best belong! Before earning my IFBB Pro Status i competed in both Fitness and in Figure in the following orgs.: IFPA, Ms. Fitness World, Figure America, Fitness America, and Fame/wnso.
Yenny is a AFPA Certified Personal Trainer, American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certified , a licensed board certified cosmetologist. A 2x Golden gloves Boxing Champion and a self taught Cook known as the Lean Cook! Just recently She earned her IFBB Pro Status on Sept. 19th, 2009 in NYC! A dream come true! She has been working very hard at attaining her fitness success.
Yenny has recently been featured in MD-Muscular Development, Ironman, Planet Muscle, and Fitness & Physique magazine. Also featured in Natural Bodybuilding mag, Oxygen, Ms. Fitness mag, Fox sports tv, and ESPN

I'm originally from the Dominican Republic. I arrived in the United States when I was 12. I did not speak one word of English. It was very difficult for me at first. But I worked hard and eventually became a Cosmetologist, a business owner, a Golden Gloves Boxing Champion, and a public access TV Producer. I've always liked competing and working out. Now I'm a Fitness and Figure Competitor, and a fitness model. For people who don't know, Figure is a softer version of bodybuilding, and Fitness requires a dance routine wich includes displays of athleticism, special skills such as mine which is jump roping! Hahaha, dance, gymnastics, acrobatics, strenght, and flexibility moves. I am self taught! I am not a gymnast, and as a kid i was never lucky to be taken to dance classes, gymnastics, or any sports as a matter of fact. But as an adult i decided to do what i wasnt able to do then...To excell in sports and fitness. Fitness is who i am. I'm 32 and proud. I got a young heart, and my spirit is of gold. No one can take that from me.
I have many dreams and goals, which i plan to make a reality in my lifetime. I never stop reinventing myself. I believe that with determination, preparation, and staying focused you can achieve anything which your heart desires!!
