Lady Painte

Imagine being able to swim, dance, run.... do the nasty.... in body paint. Hell, why don't we do that now? We don't because the majority of body painting is done with water based paints, but there is a special type of paint out there that is non-toxic with which you CAN.

Liquid latex starts out as liquid, but dries like rubber. It actually shrinks about %3 when fully dry, which gives it a sensually tight feeling. Just like rubber, it is water proof which means you can do... whatever .... while wearing it. Unlike the other types of makeup used for body painting it doesn't wash off... it peels off!

Liquid latex can have either a diamond crusted / sparkly texture when glitter is applied, a glossy texture when polish is applied or a matte finish with an application of powder.

So why do most body artists use water based paints? The number one reason is because they are MUCH easier to work with. Water based paints are easier to blend and brush on making more intricate designs much easier to handle.

On the other hand... Liquid latex is veeeerryyyy sticky. You actually have to throw away the brush you were working with if the latex dries! .... which happens VERY often. If it gets on anything that it can't peel off of (like cloth) it will ruin it... there is no washing liquid latex out of anything. Especially hair.

Liquid latex bonds quite well to hair, so unless you are looking for pain, you need to shave EVERYWHERE the liquid latex will be applied.

The worst is that, while non-toxic, some people are allergic to latex! But not to worry, there is an easy indicator if your allergic or not... there's something that most of us have come in contact with that is made of latex and comes in little square packages and if you can have sex with a latex condom, then your most likely OK. Another thing that has latex is Duo Eyelash Adhesive.

OK so now your wondering why get latexed at all? It sounds so tricky! .... well it is tricky, but I believe the benefits outweigh the costs. I mean, can you imagine? Dancing all night in nothing but paint? How could that not be worth it?

So I know a lot about liquid latex but as of right now I have no experience working with it! I'm excited and determend to work with and learn this new medium. I've been researching it like crazy and I cant wait to bring it out to the clubs. Hope to see you soon!
