Radio...radio...and RADIO (especially Sirius Satellite Radio - DUH)!
Actually, there's MUCH more to me than that. I love music and entertainment (maybe that's why I got into radio), I'm a pop culture junkie and my favorite "place?" In the peace and quiet - I'll even camp without hookups. I'm a lakes and rivers kind of girl as opposed to beaches (I don't like sand going places it shouldn't and I burn to a crisp). I also dig hunting ghosts (yes, that kind). Click on the link to New England Paranormal Video Research Group in my top friends to find out more!

80's rock (read: hair and glam) and New Wave will always hold a special place in my heart. And when it comes to my more modern stuff, I prefer it nice and hard. What's in current rotation? ELECTRIC MARY! Otherwise, in no particular order: Seal, Louis XIV(their "Best Little Secrets Are Kept" record), The Exies, The Feeling, Away Station, The Script and Paddy Casey. I also can't stop listening to Dishwalla's self-titled album or the Carolina Liar album, Coming To Terms," lately. One other thing, if you're Seal fan, check out "Blues In 'E' - it's a b-side to his single, "Newborn Friend" and it's a "must have" for anyone - I'm just sayin'.
電影
"O'Brother Where Art Thou" (you get bonus points if you can quote it!), "The Color Purple," "The Green Mile," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," "The Hairdressers Husband," practically anything by John Hughes from "back in the day" and "Kissed"
電視
I am OBSESSED with BBC America in general (faves include "Torchwood," "Primeval" and Gordon Ramsay's "The F Word") and I love HBO's "True Blood" as well as "Little Britain" and G4's "Braniac." I'm also a sucker for most reality television (don't hate). Basically, if it's "wrong" - I probably like it.
書籍
Anything written by John Sandford works for me (he wrote the "Prey" series, among other things), early Anne Rice (including the "Sleeping Beauty" series), "Pay It Forward"

My grandparents - specifically, my mother's parents, Anna and John. They came to this country from Ukraine with nothing. After escaping the Russians during the War, they made it to New York in the early '50s. They each worked two jobs and raised their three kids to be successful. They have lived the "American Dream" and I believe that a good deal of my drive comes from them. They proved that ANYTHING is possible - that if you really believe in it and commit to making it happen...it will. And when it comes to my grandmother specifically, she taught me that no one can or should ever rule you. To put it another way, "Don't take shit from anyone." Of course, if she were alive today, she'd smack me across the mouth for uttering a bad word. But you know what? I wish she were here to do just that.
There's an old saying about not judging a book by its cover - and that applies to me in spades. I have a kickass home life that includes two awesome bonus kids as well my son, John, who rocks my world on a daily basis. I am Christian (raised Catholic, but the boys running the show tick me off) and I hate it when anyone tries to tell me who and what I should be. I've never fit a mold - and I don't intend to start now.
When it comes to those I want in my life, the rules are simple: keep it honest and interesting or our association will be a short one. And for the love of all that is sacred, PLEASE have a sense of humor! Life is too short to be pissed off all the time. To put it differently (and to quote the classic film, "Stripes"), "Lighten up, Francis."
Moving on from my first love, radio, I'm now back in private life - WEIRD! But I still encourage you to become a fan of Sirius XM Radio - AND BECOME A SUBSCRIBER. Find out more by going to Sirius.com and getting the free 3-day trial!
I'm still your connection into the world of Mike Church, however. If you're looking to book Mike for a personal appearance, feel free to drop me line here or via Cynthia@MikeChurch.com
You are a being of Water. You are loving, compassionate, and playful. You might dream often. You are very emotional and sentimental. Aphrodite and Poseidon watch over you.
Morning Cynth, we're just chipper thanks! Was in St Helens a few days back visiting one of my uncles and we had to drive by Beth Ave, (where I used to live as a kid) I pointed it out to Sarah as the place we first landed when we moved up from Essex. A red bricked rats maze of shadowed alleyways and overhanging tenements, dim entries and multiple ambush points. The only time your neighbors popped round for a cup of sugar was through your back window when you weren't in! *lol*
I so totally miss you - I'm following with a message for the more juicy wetness I'm sure you want to hear - LMAO! You make me smile... My day is always a better day when I hear you. Love n hugs!
