My niece's cat had kittens two months ago and I promised to take one if they couldn't find another home for her. Truth be told it wasn't a hardship. She's cute and fuzzy and I had pretty much fallen in love with her about a month ago when I saw her, but we had not been planning on getting another kitten after my eldest cat passed away in the fall.
But we did....and now we need to name her. My niece called her Bella after the character in the Twilight books. I warned her that name would not stay. I don't like the books and I especially don't like the character of Bella.

Usually I don't have a hard time naming my pets.....they tend to share thier names fairly soon as I get to know them, but she's a shy one.
Some of our top contenders are:
Zen - because the night we picked her up she was so laidback and just slept on me the whole way home.
Lily - it's pretty - Ewok - because she reminds me of an ewok from Star wars
Teek - an Ewok name from the cartoon/movies
'Shroom - because she likes to hide in dark places (short for Mushroom)
Portabella - which brings us back to bella

What a sweet baby. As you know, I am partial to the name Bella, for my own reasons. ;) But mine is Belladonna!
