    Over the last 20 years I've been a MOM, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a neighbor, a friend, a teacher, a pet owner, hmmm there must be more?! :P I am a lover of God and all his creation. I love to be outside enjoying the beauty of the things He created for us to enjoy. The sky, the land, the water, the creatures...all give me joy that wells up in my soul and spills out in laughter and joyful tears. I love to be around kids. I love to sing and dance. I love to be in the garden (not so crazy about wasps and slugs although i am getting used to spiders). I appreciate many things. Beauty in all its forms. Visual, music, movement, purity, wisdom.

I also like kids movies... Muppets Christmas Carol, Muppets Treasure Island, Shrek, Nemo, Peanuts Christmas, The Little Princess, The Secret Garden, The Princess Bride, Neverending Story

    Jim and I love to hang out and watch reality shows like The Apprentice, Super Nanny, Starting Over, Inventor, Dog the bounty hunter, America's top model. These types of shows have helped us to become a little bit wiser. I also love the decorating shows and garden shows. I will admit I am a weather channel FREAK! I'm addicted to Doppler Radar. I could watch that thing all day if there is activity in the atmosphere. I know, it's pathetic. oh well. Animal Planet is cool unless there are killing scenes or cop type shows. I don't need anymore reminders of the ignorant cruelty in the world, especially towards creatures that can't help themselves. I've learned so much from watching tv. It has inspired me to move forward in my life to have and do the things in life that I really want.

    I LOVE BOOKS!!!! As a family we have read series of books outloud and I'm most proud of that! Little House on the Prairie, The Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Harry Potter Series, Anne of Green Gables, The Mitford Series. Kids books are special to me. I love the pictures!! I read books to help me live a better life like Rhonda Britton and Iyanla VanZant One Day My Soul Just Opened Up (from Starting Over), Boundaries (Cloud/Townsend), Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About (Trudeau), FlyLady's Sink Reflections & Sidetracked Home Executives. The Pigman & Stuck in Neutral are books i've recently read. Of course my favorite book is God's Word (the bible). I like to read different translations too, the King James is cool, but New International Version is much easier to understand. I've gotten pretty good at understanding the King Jimmy because I love old english stuff. Renaissance Faire helped me get used to it. My husband Jim wrote a book on CD called Satan On Planet Earth (for sale on his website www.jimseekamp.com) check it out.
    i'm working this winter season on personal growth, self help books like You Can Heal Your Life by Louise L. Hay A New Earth by Eckert Tolle Living Successfully With Screwed Up People by Elizabeth B. Brown One of my favorite books to refer to on an almost daily basis is Animal Speak by Ted Andrews. I am working on compiling a list of verses from God's word that teach using creation and it's creatures. it's awesome! let me know if you are interested in it and i'll hook you up with what i find. treasures are everywhere!!

    Jennifer & Deb at Destination Safe Haven Rescue Donna Bobeng ROCKS LIKE LED ZEPPELIN!!! Lynn (breast cancer survivor) my sister is like a valkyrie, a bad-ass warrior maiden that is conquering life and proving she is a victorious awesome woman! Like she said years ago to a guy trying to sell her a home security system, "Listen, I've got a dog, a gun and God. I don't need your system!" :D LOL!! The devil better run! :D Lynn is Lynn, what can I say! I love that girl!!
