.. Preface: I felt compelled to share this thought with everyone here on MySpace. I'm not claiming to have any of the answers to life's problems. And I'm certainly not trying to judge or condemn anyone. I've merely written down my own thoughts in free-style prose to casually share this with you...
I call it, "God Spot"....
Have you ever had a real empty feeling inside? It was more than just hunger pangs! You know what I'm talking about. You know... it's that empty feeling. You can't explain it. You know it's there. And it doesn't go away!
Have you ever wondered what it might be? And why it doesn't go away?
Have you ever tried to fill that emptiness with things you thought might fill that void? Maybe you've tried eating, but food (even your favorites) didn't seem to satisfy you? Maybe you've tried alcohol or drugs? Hoping the next drink or the next hit might be the answer you've been waiting for. But to your dismay, that emptiness is still there. And it doesn't go away!
Have you tried to convince yourself that a busy lifestyle might be the answer? Maybe you've tried partying? Or are you more the workaholic type? You want to keep all the proper appearances for the sake of those around you. But you know you're not being honest with yourself. No matter how "busy" you are, that emptiness is still there. And it doesn't go away!
All your searching and seeking trying desperately to remedy that emptiness, but to no avail. So you've tried to blame others? Or maybe it sounds better if you simply say it's because of the way you were brought up? Ever tried telling yourself, "It's genetic"?
Whatever our excuses are, at some point we need to search our own soul. We have to stop kidding ourselves...
God has impressed upon me an interesting thought. This is the main idea I wanted to share with you here...
What if that emptiness... that empty feeling inside of us... is actually a "God Spot" ?
What if, when we were created, there was also a special spot created deep inside each and every human life, that was set aside just for God?
As humans often do, we try to make ourselves happy with "things", or rely on others to make us happy. They say money can't buy happiness... so what's the real answer?
Maybe it's that God Spot needing to be filled.
Try thinking of it this way... we are a puzzle. We're all at different stages in our lives, with different puzzle pieces being in place. Some of us have our edges completed but now we're working on the big picture. Some of us have our corners completed, but the rest of the picture just isn't coming together yet. But no matter what stage our "puzzle" is at, we all have one piece in common. We have that "God Spot". We all share that need, and that desire to fill that "empty" piece. That one piece that is shaped just like God. That one spot inside of us that was made only for God. Only He will fit. Only He can truly satisfy. Only He can fill that emptiness... because only He is God.
This goes beyond calling yourself a Christian or a Christ-follower or a Believer or being Born-again.
And it's not about going to church. It's about far more than just religion! This is about finding God! It's about filling that God Spot inside YOU.
Like I stated at the beginning... I'm not claiming to have the answers to life's problems. And I'm certainly not trying to judge or condemn anyone. I just want to give you something to think about, meditate on, and consider the possibility, that maybe... just maybe... there really is a God Spot in each of us, waiting to be filled. ..

About me:
~ I have been a Christian for over 33 years. I love my Lord & Saviour! I see this page as part of my living testimony of my life & love for Him.
~
~ TRUTH and HONESTY are 2 of the most important values in life. They attest to a person's true character!!!
~
I enjoy a wide variety of different music styles (Country, Jazz, Big-Band, Instrumental, Classical, Celtic, Christian Contemporary, Old-Time Gospel, A'cappella, Oldies Rock, etc...) God has blessed so many people with such tremendous talent, and I appreciate their willingness to share their gift with the world!
I am particular about who I invite or accept as part of my "Friends" list. There's an old saying, "You tell on yourself by the friends you keep."
~ I want to maintain a positive atmosphere on my page here!
~ I will not accept anyone that has any profanity, nudity, or sexually explicit pics anywhere on their page.
(I want my page to be "family friendly")
~ I am not interested in astrological signs, horoscopes or readings.
~ I am not into "networking" as such... and therefore, not interested in being added to your friends list if you're just wanting to recruit me for, or merely trying to promote, your "home business".
~ Please RESPECT my space and the friends I have here on MySpace ~
~ Thank You! ~

The Butterfly is a symbol of New Life and Transformation.
Romans 12:2 says; "..be not conformed to this world; but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Who I'd like to meet:
~
God has opened doors and given me opportunities to meet some absolutely fabulous people throughout my life. I feel blessed by knowing the people that are already a part of my life, and I look forward to meeting new friends as time goes by. I have the most amazing friends here on MySpace!!! I am happy to call each of you my friend! I would like to meet Kathleen Procter-Moore in person someday. And if I ever get to Tenessee, I'm looking forward to worshipping at Crossway Church with my new friends there! "A New Covenant" sends out the most amazing bulletins!!! ~ Mike & Cheryl, I hope you know you have come to be very special to me! I thank the Lord for your friendship! ~ And... Debbie, your friendship is a gift! I thank God for the opportunity to have a special internet-friend like you. Your prayers and encouragement have meant so much! I'm certain you are an amazing woman!
~
~ Who says Christians can't have fun?!~
~
Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections!
God didn't promise days without pain, or laughter without sorrow, sun without rain... But He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears and light for the way.
~
~
~
~ To be in this world, but not to become a part of it. Keep yourself pure, and keep your heart true to God.
~
~
When people are hurting, they tend to hurt others, sometimes without even knowing it!
The people who intentionally try to manipulate or hurt others, are to be pitied!
~ You are the only one in charge of your happiness!
~ I'm not quite where I want to be, but thank God I'm not where I used to be!
~ Living, learning and growing in the Lord is a day-to-day process! ~
~
~ A woman's heart should be so hidden in the Lord that man must first seek God to find it ~
