LADY STARLIGHT is the notorious rock’n roll nightlife queen of downtown New York City. This hard rock DJ has been an influential presence in the Lower East Side club scene since the early 2000's. Her innovative parties combine experimental performance art with the killer sounds of 70’s/80’s Glam and Metal. Laser beams, fog machines, fire and the excessive and inappropriate use of theatrical drama are all crowd pleasing staples at her current productions, The Soundhouse and her weekly residency in Brooklyn, Rock Disco.
Known for her extravagant and unconventional street style, LADY STARLIGHT is a cutting edge fashion maven with a penchant for transformation. Inspired by the glitz and glitter of Ziggy Stardust to the spandex and leather of Iron Maiden, her look is always rooted in the sights and sounds of rock!
As a rock history aficionada and multimedia artist, LADY STARLIGHT writes a popular rock fashion themed blog and hosts an online heavy metal radio show for American Apparel's Viva Radio. She is a contributing writer for Classic Rock Magazine and the online youth culture magazine Platform. She also produces short art house films and music videos for her YouTube channel, set to the sonic melodies of her own conceptual soundscapes. She has been a special guest on NWOBHM legend Neal Kay’s Total Rock radio show in London, England. In 2008, she was nominated for "Best Go Go Dancer and Burlesque Performer" and voted "Best Female Hard Rock DJ" by The L Magazine.
