Sounds Like
Sometimes an angel choir. Sometimes a chainsaw going through puppies. The Clash mating with Johnny Cash on Elvis' couch. It's country with a kick and a black wardrobe. Death Western. Hellbilly. You tell us we have no idea!
It's a new line-up. Its a new live album. It's life Jim but not as you know it. We want to make you laugh, cry, dance and sing. Life is a Carnivale. Welcome to ours.
Myspace Backgrounds
We're gonna have ourselves a rooting tooting SHINDIG that Britney would like to lip sink at, if she were in town, which she isn't. We're at the winchester on the 23rd October.
We got us, ... 2and the Magical 8-Ball band" and those rogue-ish, pogue-ish geezers from Reading, Smokey Bastard.
Wow, weird to think i wont be seeing you guys for near on 7 months now, damn university *grumble grmble* Going to see ya tonight at the ragged cat. make it a good one!
'The Maggot's have 'morphed'! Maggot...n. a grub, a worm, larva of the cheese or flesh fly! Also, especially a whimsical fancy. The 'Lady Winwood' variety is all of these things but, tonight, in a 'tent in Swanage' with a few hundred folk of all ages and a live CD in the making they became 'Immortals'. O.K., I'm a bit embelished by alcohol imbibement, but I know a good thing when I see, or hear it, and believe me you should've been there...I was and will be forever thankful and will most certainly be buying that CD. Love and Peas from 'Blazing Riff' from TOST.
Hey we got ourselves a SHINDIG this Friday, if you and your mates are about..?
Featuring Shelf Life (Quinns Quinney in disguise), KFC (acoustic set) and Toni Viagra (Pronghorn & Cash Converted) taking on Kirky (Paints and Ladders) in a DJ versus - heh heh heh.
Great gig at Wimbourne. We had never heard of you (sorry!!!) until we went into the tent on Sunday. What a treat. Really enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. Thanks. We are now fans and will be tracking you down again soon.
Just to let the good folks know that were back at the Tripp Late n Live on Wednesday 27th May, having a little diggle with Primitive Slim in support - he's a one man rockbilly band you know!
