" Lets break out of the horrible strait-jacket of wisdom & throw ourselves, like fruits spiced with pride into the wide, contorted mouth of the wind! Lets give ourselves utterly to the unknown, not in desperation, but only to replenish the unfathomable wells of the absurd!"-F.T.Marinetti"

Life in all its variety and fullness is art, the highest art. The person who is not part of the stream of life is not an artist, no matter how well one paints sunsets or composes nocturnes. It certainly does not mean that the artist must hold a definite creed, join an anarchist group or a socialist local. It does signify, however, that one must be able to feel the tragedy of the millions condemned to a lack of joy and beauty." -E.G

the best place to find this art is the furtherest place from where it was last seen."

'Trying to look good limits my life.' Pursue your conceptual goals rather than your idea of beautiful visual aesthetic. Remember Bucky Fuller: 'When I am working on a problem, I never think about beauty... but when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it is wrong.' Check your progress against beauty less frequently. It may not look beautiful until the very end. It may never look beautiful. It may simply be beautiful."

The progress of man, Andre Breton wrote in 1934 (though thinking of years past, consisted in "a campaign of systematic refusal, exasperated by the conditions under which, in such an age, we were forced to live. But our refusal did not stop there; it was insatiable and knew no bounds."

"The very development from class society to the spectacular organization of n on-life leads the revolutionary project to become visibly what it already was essentially." The situationalists
It is perhaps too soon and frightening to acknowledge, but the paradigm of nomadic selves and sites may be a glamorization of the trickster ethos that is in fact a reprisal of the ideology of 'freedom of choice' - the choice to forget, the choice to reinvent, the choice to fictionalize, the choice to 'belong' anywhere, everywhere, and nowhere. This choice, of course, does not belong to everyone equally. The understanding of identity and difference as being culturally constructed should not obscure the fact that the ability to deploy multiple, fluid identities in and of itself is a privilege of mobilization that has a specific relationship to power.
