Reading, pets, museums, art, napping, travel, music, video games, coffee, concerts, movies, shopping, and of course my most favoritist boy.
Music
Symphonic metal is my very favorite! I also love rock and metal of all kinds, not to mention cheesy '80s pop, and I have a tendency to love female-fronted bands!
My top 10 bands: Lacuna Coil, Disturbed, Evanescence, Rob Zombie, Korn, Nightwish, Sevendust, Powerman 5000, Dragonforce, Godsmack. (That was hard!)
Movies
The Princess Bride, Moulin Rouge!, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Garden State, Once, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Underworld, Phantom of the Opera, Little Miss Sunshine, A Series of Unfortunate Events
Television
CSI:, Law & Order: SVU, Bones, Mythbusters, Scrubs
Books
If you knew how many books I've read - or even scarier, how many books I own - you'd know how impossible this is!
I can pick favorite authors, though: Augustin Burroughs, Michael Connelly, Patricia Cornwell, Michael Crichton, Neil Gaiman, Robert Jordan, Jonathan Kellerman, Madeline L'Engle, George R. R. Martin, Garth Nix, William Shakespeare, Kathy Reichs, Mary Roach, Shel Silverstein, and probably more...
Heroes
My parents. They're amazing people, and my inspiration to focus on what really matters in life.
About me: My favorite color is violet and my favorite food is Mexican, but that's only because coffee isn't considered food. I'm a hopeless romantic who just so happens to be married to her best friend, a guy who couldn't be more perfect for me if I planned him myself. My goals are to: learn another language (or more!), see ALL my favorite bands in concert, finally beat Dan at a video game, turn my house into a zoo, read all the good books EVER, find a career that I enjoy and am successful at, have several adorable kids, take lots and lots of pictures, and be happy... possibly not in that order. =)
Hey, any reason to play dress-up, right?! :) The party I went to was fun, but we didn't stay super long. By the time we arrived (about an hour and a half late, because we were waiting for some other girls to finish getting ready), everyone had already been drinking, and we didn't really know many of the people there, so it was difficult for my BF and I to delve into the action. Still great while it lasted, though! Oh, and I went as a lion. :)
Really? Wow! That's definitely weird. LOL. Yeah, Ms. Jamison split up our half of the class kinda oddly, but a couple of the cats were still very unhappy. The cat my group worked with was great, up until each of us were repeatedly trying to stretch him in lateral recumbency. He decided he didn't like that too much after a while. I think I'm going to be much better with dogs than I will ever be with cats!!
Hope you have a great weekend and Halloween, too! Dressing up? Have fun and be safe!!
For sure. I'm glad to hear (no pun intended!) that you were able to make it through. Did you get to work with some cute doggies? :) Hope your weekend is great, as well!
Oooh, I'm glad you reminded me or I would have completely forgotten. Next weekend would be the best for me cuz I'm not working and I'm not going home. Does that work for you?
Good luck with classes! I hope everything goes amazingly well for you and I'll see you next weekend! <33
that's so freaking cute! thank you so much for sending that to me =) How have you been? I'm sorry I haven't been in contact but I'm sorta drowning in everything that I have to be doing. When do your classes start?
birthday... uh, I honestly haven't thought that much about it. I always want more sweaters, clothes in general... I'd love to have the Nicolas sparks movies- A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, and Nights in Rodanthe (I already have Message in a Bottle). I'd also like the Stephanie Meyers book "The Host". That's all I can think of for now. And as for time... My work schedule is absolutely insane. Tomorrow is really my only free day and I don't work until 9pm. The rest of the week and weekend I'm working 2-3 shifts everyday
I'm finally done unpacking 99% of my stuff. Unfortunately I am bringing *more* stuff when i come home this weekend =( I really want to come visit you sometime soon. Maybe next week sometime before school starts
