La Foret is most renowned for its old vicarage, which was built in 1876 and is reputed to be a haunted house. The first documented mentioning of ghosts in the vicarage is in a letter dated 1927 which was written by chaplain Nils Hedlund who lived in the house at the time. In the 1930s, Hedlund's successor, chaplain Rudolf Tängdén, claimed to have seen the ghost of a woman in the house of La Foret, and in the 1940s the subsequent chaplain, Otto Lindgren, and his wife said they experienced paranormal activity including weird sounds and moving objects.
If you're around on Thursday, December 10th, we are playing a show at Mario's Keller Bar. I don't know if you've been there, but it's a very cool place. It's a comfortable space, the room sounds great and they have a stellar beer selection.
Also, we will be playing ALL NIGHT! We'll play some funky, bluesy, and soulful music. We'll project live video onto a 9 ft screen. We'll play some older material that hasn't been heard in awhile, as well as some brand new songs that've never been heard. All bets are off!! We'd love it if you'd come down and listen/party with us!
You're welcome :) You guys always put on a great show and I'm really glad to hear that you'll be starting up again! Hope that you have a great holiday as well.
I was way looking forward to seeing you guys play at Beaners, but I can't leave the cities until 4 and there's no way I'll make it by 7 in this snow. PLZ play some Minneapolis or Mankato shows! Rock onward.
What's up? Just wanted to let you know about our Charity Show @ Hard Rock Cafe next Saturday (December 6th). We're gonna play some bluesy, funky stuff that's not on any of our records and it should be a really fun show...plus it's for a good cause. Hope you can make it out!
Yes: I have every Crash Bandicoot game in existence. Funny you should ask, I was just playing CTR with my 6-year-old brother... he's a champ in training.
