Well, I don't know if this is an interest, but my bosses would make me play a lot of Suchie Pai after we'd go out drinking. One time my boss was so drunk he beat me up after I beat his pants off. Greetings, everyone. Welcome. My name is Rock, and I am the business liaison of the Lagoon Trading Company. I thought that it may prove beneficial to our business if we established a presence here on MySpace. I even managed to convince the others to post their own MySpace profiles on here. And that was no easy task, let me tell you! *cough* Revy *cough* You’ll see those listed below.
So how did I, a mild-mannered Japanese salaryman, wind up sailing the high seas, brushing up against the law, and coming into contact with some of the shadiest characters the world has ever known? Well, you see, I formerly worked in the employ of Tokyo-based Asahi Industries. I was dispatched on assignment to SE Asia to transport some valuable company documents on behalf of my employer; however, I was taken hostage by the crew of the Black Lagoon during what appeared to be a pirate attack.
As it turned out, however, the documents I was carrying actually pertained to an illegal smuggling operation and the company readily tried to sacrifice me to keep their secret safe. During the course of these events, I was forced to reevaluate my entire existence and found the stifling life I had been leading, conforming to the expectations of others and carrying out a role I had not chosen for myself to be utterly unfulfilling in contrast to the freedom offered by the lifestyle my “captors” were leading. So, rather then returning to Japan at the end of my ordeal, since I’d already been written off for dead anyway, I decided to join up with the crew of the Black Lagoon.
The rest, as they say, is history.
Who I'd like to meet: Someone who can maintain a proper balance between light and darkness while surrounded by a world seemingly flooded with darkness.
